PUBG Mobile has become one of the biggest mobile games in the world. To keep the quality of the game up to the mark, PUBG Mobile always comes with exciting features and updates with time to time. Initially, when the game was launched, it had only one map – Erangel. It is by far the most favoured map by the players.

The game has introduced many new maps over the period but they still don’t forget to improve the current maps, but players were still waiting for a major update for the Erangel Map to smoothen their gaming experience.
In June, PUBG Mobile introduced the new Erangel 2.0 map in the Chinese beta version of the game. This month, PUBG Mobile beta version 1.0 is bringing the long-awaited Erangel 2.0 map in the global version. The new version was confirmed by the PUBG Mobile team on its official Discord Channel. The team also posted a brief introduction of Erangel 2.0. This beta version is currently available for Android users only and will be available on iOS later on.

There will be big changes in the user interface also. Apart from the new update, PUBG Mobile is also getting a new 90 fps option in settings. The game was previously only playable at maximum 60 fps. This will be a huge benefit for players with phones with high refresh rate displays. Tencent Games is adding support for 90 fps in the US and other countries, but there’s a catch, especially OnePlus users will get a chance to play the game at 90 fps.
The list of devices which will support the 90 fps frame rates will include the OnePlus 8 pro, OnePlus 8, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7 pro. The OnePlus 7T pro seems to be missing from the list but will likely to make it when the model arrives in regions where the device is available.
The OnePlus Nord is missing from this list. And it is understandable by considering its mid-range Snapdragon 765G SoC. Tencent Games has confirmed that the 90 fps mode will arrive on the other smartphones that support the high refresh rate after the OnePlus deal expires, on September 7.
