What happened so far
Last year, PlayerUnknown's Battleground (PUBG) Mobile was banned in India due to privacy concerns. Since its ban, it became much more popular and gamers from India were keenly waiting for its relaunch. However, before Diwali 2020, PUBG Corporation teased the game's comeback as PUBG Mobile India. Even after the efforts by Krafton, PUBG Mobile India was not able to get a launch in India.
Current Situation
Recently, Krafton announced Battlegrounds Mobile India as the new PUBG Mobile and this game will be specifically for Indian gamers who love to play PUBG Mobile.
This new version of the game is made by following all the rules and regulations of the Government of India.

Also, the new YouTube channel is also created with the name "Battlegrounds Mobile India" for exclusive content by Krafton. The YouTube channel has uploaded a short 10-second teaser of the game. Take a look at it:
The news of Battlegrounds Mobile India took the social media with #INDIAKABATTLEGROUNDS as the trending hashtag regarding it.
The logo of the game is coloured with an Indian flag suggesting that the game is designed specifically for Indian gamers. Krafton also uploaded a video regarding the logo on the official YouTube channel.
Strict Rules
- If the user is under 18, he/she has to provide his/her parents mobile number for verification. Any violation of the rules will delete the users account permanently.
- Under 18 users can play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day.
- Under 18 users can do in-game purchases of a maximum of ₹7000 (approx. $95) per day.
Pre-Registration and Launch date
The game will have pre-registrations before the launch for Android and then for iOS devices.
The pre-registration of Battlegrounds Mobile India will start on May 18 2021. This information has been revealed on the official YouTube channel of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game is expected to launch next month (June 2021).
