Metro Royale Mode

The latest update 1.1 of PUBG Mobile is bringing a new limited-time mode called “Metro Royale Mode”. This mode will be based on a video game called METRO EXODUS, which takes place in a subway station in Moscow, Russia in 2033. Because of the collaboration of PUBG Mobile with Metro Exodus, we will be able to see some new underground features in PUBG Mobile. These features will give you the experience of playing the Metro Exodus game in PUBG Mobile.

In this update, there is a new lobby screen, where we can see a tunnel-shaped entrance for the Metro Royale mode. Metro Royale’s system is different from the existing modes.

Goal of Metro Royale Mode:

The goal in the new Metro Royale mode is not as simple as becoming the last man standing. If a player manages to return within time, he can take the items that he had on his body during combats to the inventory (loadout inventory) in the mode lobby. Players can either use the item for next combats or sell them at a black market exclusive for Metro Royale players to acquire Metro cash. The items in the black market are classified by their quality and priced differently.

 

Exclusive Items:

There are items exclusive to the modes including thermal sight, helmets that are level 4 or above, underslung grenade launcher, detection mine, silent air rifle, armour attachments and many more. To buy these items, players must save up their metro cash.

If a player dies during combat or fail to return within the given time, the items that the player did not store in a safe box and had on his body during combat will all be lost! The economic system is special as the number of kills and revenue are taken into consideration in the ranking.

 

Gameplay:

Metro Royale Mode consists of a total of three maps, and players may unlock the mode based on their fame level. While the acquisition of resources is the main goal in the basic mode, stealing is the main goal in some other mode. The more players level up, players will get a reward of “Undercover Agent ID”. Using the ID, players can access the undercover mode also.

In a map that houses 12-16 players at a time, and there are 2 random return points and railcar route which is connected to a part of underground mines. Two bosses also appear in the map. Players can obtain high-quality items by killing the boss.

In this mode, players will be able to see their character grow. Players can increase their fame level by upgrading their weapons made of wood to higher quality weapons. Once a player obtains enough points of a kind, he will be able to strengthen his relevant skill.

Complete the favorability mission or increase the favorability level of command post characters for more hidden stories about METRO EXODUS in the command post.

Rewards and More:

All kind of rewards and missions are prepared to help players grow! Overall, this is an exhilarating survival mode where players steal or get their resources stolen until they return to the lobby. This amazing collaboration of PUBG Mobile and Metro Exodus will make players explore a new underworld in PUBG Mobile.

Also, a new Erangel-Metro will be temporarily added to Erangel on 17th November. Users can enter in that mode if they select the check box and log in. There are subway stations indicated in alphabet and numbers all over the mini-map. If a player is underground of a shabby looking station, subways are coming and going, after jumping on it, the subway will move. The subway moves to another station with the same alphabet in an instant one station at a time.

In Erangel-Metro mode, since there is an irradiated area, if the station where the player moved to is in the irradiated area, he should get out. However, there are crates with lots of premium items in some stations. Also, do not relax because there may be metro mutants inside the underground station.

Items like chemical substances obtained from the subway or inside the station can be used for the event, so make sure to set them aside.
