DP-28 is the most stable midrange weapon in PUBG Mobile. Most of the players use DP-28 in their weapon combo. However, some of the players are unaware of the full potential of this gun.

Comparison between DP-28 and AKM:
1. Ammo type and Damage Rate
Even though DP-28 is a
machine gun and AKM is an assault rifle, they both have similarities like they
both use 7.62 ammunition and their damage is also almost similar. AKM has the damage rate of 49 points, while, DP-28 has the damage rate of 51 points.
The magazine size of DP-28 is 47 and that of AKM is 30.
2. Bullet Velocity
Bullet velocity or bullet speed is identical for DP-28
and AKM which is 715 m/s.
3. Firing Rate
Many players think that the DP-28 firing rate is slow, and
that is kind of true in some cases. If we
start shooting DP-28 and AKM at the same time with mag size of 30 bullets, the
AKM will finish first by only 0.02 seconds then that of DP-28. That is not a big
difference. If we shoot 10 bullets, then the difference is not noticeable at
all. However, if we shoot 20 bullets, then the AKM is only 0.01 seconds faster.
Thus, it does not matter in terms of firing speed for both guns.
4. Attachments
DP-28 has only one attachment point, and that is for the scope. DP-28 and 4x scope make a perfect combo for most of the
players in PUBG Mobile, but some players prefer to use 3x scope due to its ease
of use. The 6x scope makes it a bit difficult to control the recoil, thus
having 3x or 4x scope with DP-28 is the better choice over 6x.
5. Handling
DP-28 is a weapon for everyone. Does not matter if you are a
professional player or a newbie, this weapon will do the work just fine. Also,
it does not matter if you are a gyroscope player or non-gyroscope player,
controlling recoil is not a big problem with DP-28.

The hip-fire accuracy (shooting without aiming) between DP-28
and all the assault rifles are almost identical. But, the hip-fire recoil
between AKM and DP-28 is a big difference. DP-28 has less hip-fire recoil and
less bullet spread. Thus, DP-28 is a good weapon at hip-firing.
6. Overall Performance
The main disadvantage of DP-28 is its
reloading speed. It takes around 5.5 seconds to reload a magazine in DP-28,
which can get you killed sometimes, thus, it is not recommended to use DP-28
for close range, but sometimes it is okay to use it if you know how to handle
risky situations.
On the other hand, AKM has a reload duration of 2.9 seconds. This is the advantage of AKM over DP-28.
After using DP-28 for continuous shooting, the sprays get
worse and maybe sometimes it’s difficult to control. This is not because of
you, but because of the game increasing the recoil of DP-28 due to being overpowered.
However, it is still powerful enough to destroy the enemies.
The first 4 to 5 bullets of DP-28 has almost no recoil. But
after 5 bullets, the recoil starts to increase. Keep in mind while using DP-28
that if your target is far away, then you need to use burst fire method. The
solution to this problem is to fir 4-5 bullets from DP-28 and give 1-second gap,
and repeat until the enemy is down.
