Recently, PUBG Mobile released its new update 1.2 on January 12. The update is for both Android and iOS devices. The update comes with some additional game modes and new features.
Here, we have listed the exciting features and changes coming with update 1.2.

Game Size
The update will have a size of around 615 MB for Android and 1.5 GB for iOS devices. The resources and in-game maps can be download inside PUBG Mobile app itself.
Update Reward
Rewards include two 888 BP crates, 100 AG and an Acolyte of Justice Backpack. These rewards will be available until January 17.
Runic Power Mode And Armour Mode
PUBG Mobile 1.2 update offers a new limited Runic Power Gameplay, which will be available until March 7. The new gameplay will allow players to choose their Rune energy type on Spawn Island for gaining unique abilities during the match. It will also act as the theme for Royale Pass Season 17.
Along with the Runic Power Gameplay, the new Armor mode is going to launch on February 5. The Armour mode will be playable on EvoGround. It will be the all-new experience for players in PUBG Mobile.
In the Armour mode, the player has to collect the blueprints and other parts from different locations of the map. The player has to go to the armour upgrade room to gather the pieces and suit up. After submitting them, the player can equip a near-invincible body armour that can also attack by throwing heat blasts.

New Weapon
A new weapon called FAMAS introduced in the update 1.2. The gun uses 5.56 ammo and will be available in the classic maps for the battle royale mode. FAMAS have a 25 round magazine and have only one muzzle, magazine and scope attachment on it. The gun has its bipod attached to it such that it will control it’s recoil when players are shooting in the prone position. FAMAS is exclusively available for the Livik map and has the fastest fire rate among all rifles.
Other Improvements
Along with the new features and a new weapon, few performance improvements, security improvements, sight model improvements, skydiving and landing action improvements are there.
